about

I didn't take myself seriously back when I did my first chip tunes in 2010, and after a hiatus I started again in 2014, moving beyond just chiptune and into something I've loved since I was a kid, and that is bass music! This album was done in a time when I still didn't have a solid understanding of audio mixing and mastering, so there are some elements that aren't perfect (most elements are good however), but something to note is that the bass in this music was generated with pure digital FM synthesis, so that element is crystal clear and clean, with frequencies that at times drop far below 35hz. There are some tracks where I was also trying to blend bass music and chiptune (and maybe one horrible techno cut). All in all, this was certainly not my best work but for a fellow basshead it is extreme and will slam your system. This album was a hell of an experiment :) A formal CD release is available if you just search for BitPusher on Amazon!

BitPusher

I make both bass music for car audio junkies, and 8-bit/chiptune because why not? I do this because I enjoy it, and if I'm lucky, someone somewhere might even like one of my tunes. Thank you for swinging by, and feel free to visit me at BitPusher2600.net if you wish. ... more
